1. Access class Internet notes for basic concept ideas.
- Use them to be sure you don't miss something important
- Some good links are provided here
2. Access as many Internet sites as you can.
a. Evaluate the information at each site.
- Learn to do this quickly
- Most good sites have good links to related pages
- Check the three "links" pages provided at The Internet Science Room
b. Make notes on good information.
- Don't print out whole pages from a site
- You will be using only a few sentences at a time
- "Copy" the info and "paste" it into Word to be printed later
3. Make a draft of the information you gathered.
- The Team will need this information to plan the report
- Don't forget to record the bibliography information for each site

B. Equipment Management

1. Provide an equipment list to the Team Leader as soon as possible.
- The Team Leader must discuss the equipment needs
with the Science Facilitator well before lab day
2. Check equipment on lab day.
- Make sure you have everything before the Team begins the lab
3. Return all equipment to the same place you got it.
- This is your responsibility to do personally
4. Make sure the lab station is clean and dry before you leave.
- It is your responsibility to see that this gets done
