Objectives

1.   Examine and discuss some of the misconceptions of evolution theory.

2.   Summarize how Darwin used the processes of science to support his theory.

3.   Examine some of the evidence that reinforces evolution.

4.   Discuss how populations (Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium), the environment and species interacting influence evolution.

5.   Describe other factors that influence evolution such as species variation (mutations)  and different types of selections.
